Nintendo has announced a live-action movie based on The Legend of Zelda, creator and game developer Shigeru Miyamoto announced.

The film is directed by Wes Paul, who directed the “Maze Runner” trilogy and the upcoming “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,” and is produced by Miyamoto, who was involved in 2023’s “The Super Mario Bros. Movie.” An amazing box office hit.
Arad co-produced the “Zelda” films, and his credits include every live-action “Spider-Man” film and the “Spider-Verse” animated films. The film is co-financed by Nintendo and Sony Pictures Entertainment, with Nintendo providing over 50% of the funding. Sony will handle the theatrical distribution.
