Reports: Patriots undrafted rookie roundup

S del Petus – Troy (Via Troy PR)Bettus has a Patriots vibe in the secondary, having played multiple spots, including safety and the slot, but his special teams prowess could be his direct path to earning a roster spot. He had 61 straight starts in Troy and played 4,000 combined snaps.

CB Mikey Victor – Alabama State (By Gerald Huggins): Played in 19 games at Alabama State after previous stints at Victor Ventura College and UNLV, picking up three interceptions. His size is intriguing at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, as he brings a long body type to the position group.

CB Kaleb Ford-Dement – Texas State (Via Mark Daniels): At the other end of the spectrum is Ford-Dement. With some uncertainty with Myles Bryant, he may have slot potential.

ED John Morgan III – Arkansas (Via Duck Kite): Morgan spent five years at Pitt before his final year with Arkansas, totaling 64 starts in his career. A short but solid LB, Morgan should stand out on special teams.

LP Jet Bush – Texas (Via Jet Push IG): Similarly, Bush is another small but athletic linebacker who has special teams potential. He has appeared in 58 games in his career and has a 43-yard pick-six to his name.

LB Jandry Hunter – Georgia State (By Mike Reyes): Hunter has better size than the other two UDFA secondary defenders, but their movement skills aren't perfect. He made 26 starts in his career, appearing in 52 games. Again, special teams will be where Hunter needs to make an impact.
