Rihanna was gifted a faux fur coat from Peta after appearing to wear a real fur coat

Here’s the deal…Rihanna was photographed this week in a full-length fur coat, PETA tells us.

PETA sent a letter, obtained by TMZ , to Rihanna’s team … claiming they noticed her fur coat, then pleading their case for switching to fake fur and offering a fake fur coat.

In LetterSenior Vice President of PETA Lisa Long Citing Rihanna’s growing family, she writes … “As a mother, you know what it’s like to feel protective and want to see your family out of harm’s way. Understand that this desire — even this instinct — is shared. Minks, foxes, and Rabbits are torn from their families and killed for their fur.”

Then PETA asks Rihanna, “Won’t you help make a kinder world for your kids to grow up in? Today You don’t wear fur anymore?”

The organization is offering to take any of Rihanna’s fur dresses off her hands and donate them to survivors of the recent earthquakes in Syria and Turkey… PETA says. Winter.

PETA also says they’re sending Rihanna a faux fur coat from Unreal Fur, which they say will help her “stay warm and fashionable while making a cruelty-free transition.”
